Let’s Ensure that Devotees to Return with Good Experience from Rath Yatra: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: As the Rath Yatra is going to be organized in the presence of devotees after the gap of two years, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today urged the administration to ensure that the devotees should have good experience during the festival and return with good feelings.

Chairing a special review meeting to take stock of the preparations for the annual Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath at the pilgrim city of Puri, the Chief Minister has sought cooperation of all for the smooth and peaceful conduct of the festival.

Expressing his happiness that the Rath Yatra will be held with the participation of devotees after the gap two years, the Chief Minister urged the officials to make all possible arrangements in advance for the smooth conduct of the world famous festival, which is expected to witness a record of number of devotees this year.

The Chief Minister also thanked the servitors for successfully conducting the Rath Yatra during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting was attended by various ministers, Puri MP and MLA, DGP and other senior officials.

The SJTA Chief Administrator, Puri Collector, sevayats and members of Chhatisa Nijoga also attended the meeting.
