Bhubaneswar: A low pressure area has formed over Odisha and neighborhood on Saturday, informed the IMD.
“Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over northwest & adjoining westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha – north Andhra Pradesh Coasts, a Low Pressure Area has formed over Odisha & neighborhood and the associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level tilting south westwards with height”, the Regional Metrological Centre, Bhubaneswar said.
The low pressure is likely to cause heavy rainfall in several districts for the next five days.
