Malkangiri Collector Vishal Singh In Ground Zero; Reviews Functioning Of AWCs, Teaches In School

Malkangiri: With an aim to see development reaches the common man in the remotest of the areas, Malkangiri Collector Vishal Singh is making visits to various remote areas of the district. As part of his review program, Vishal Singh visited the Swabhiman Anchal of Chitrakonda area yesterday and interacted with the villagers of Jantapai, Totaguda, Bidarpakhna, Hantalguda and Badapada. He made a visit to the Anganwadi Centers of the area and inspected various facilities there.

The Collector also inspected the food being provided to the children in the Anganwadi Centers. The officer was also seen taking the role of a teacher at a school and teaching the students.

The Collector also reviewed the progress of various development projects on the ground and interacted with the farmers on cultivation.

The Swabhiman Anchal of Malkangiri is in focus for the state government and the area has seen an accelerated pace of development in the last few years. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has taken personal interest in the development of the area.
