Bhadrak: The Crime Branch team investigating the murder of of Manas Swain, a cameraman of a local web channel, visited the kidnapping spot at Palaspur village under Chandbali police limits on Friday.
The team has interacted with the SDPO, IIC Chandbali and other police officials in Bhadrak regarding the case.
Manas Swain was kidnapped from Bhadrak on February 6 and brought to Dayal Ashram, an old age home, run by the prime accused Sarmistha Rout in Bhubaneswar, where he was assaulted physically. Later, on March 12, the body of Swain was recovered from Badhipatna hills in Rajsunakhala area of Nayagarh, the police said earlier.
