Mandatory Mask Wearing Returns To Delhi As Covid-19 Positivity Rate Rises To 18 Percent

New Delhi: With the Covid-19 positivity rate touching nearly 18 percent and the National Capital reporting eight fresh cases of Covid deaths, the Delhi Government has today issued a notice making it mandatory to wear masks in public places. A fine of Rs 500 will be imposed on violators. This will not be applicable to people travelling in personal four-wheelers. In the last 24 hours, Delhi reported 2146 new cases of Covid-19 and eight deaths which is highest since February second week.
