New Delhi: Mahashay Dharampal Gulati, the owner of the popular spices brand MDH Masala, passed away this morning. He was 97.
Gulati was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi since past three weeks. He died after suffering from cardiac arrest on Thursday morning and passed away at 5:30 AM, according to reports.
As in 2017, Gulati was the highest paid fast-moving consumer goods CEO in India.
He was honoured with Padma Bhushan, India’s third highest civilian award, in 2019 by the Indian Government.
