Berhampur: A house surgeon of Maharaja Krishna Chandra Gajapati Medical College & Hospital (MKCG MCH), Berhampur was arrested for allegedly assaulting an MBBS girl student.
The house surgeon has been identified as Dr. Supan Kumar Padhy.
Padhy had allegedly assaulted a 22-year old final year MBBS girl student of the MKCG MCH. He had bitten her in hand and check.
A case was registered in BN Pur Police Station Berhampur against the house surgeon based on the report of the student. He has been arrested and will be forwarded to the court, the Berhampur Police said.
Meanwhile, the MBBS student was medically examined.
