More Trouble Likely for Pradeep Panigrahi, Akash Pathak as CB SIT Probe into Job Racket Gains Pace
Bhubaneswar: The probe into the job racket allegedly run by Akash Pathak, the son of tainted IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak, has picked up pace with the visit of Special Investigation Team to Pune and Berhampur.
Sharing development on the investigation, Amitendra Nath Sinha, IG of Police CID, CB said a case has been registered against Akash Pathak in cyber police station on the basic of complaint lodged by TATA Motors.
“A team of SIT has recently visited Pune and did investigation there. We are verifying the records and statements of various people are being recorded in the case”, Sinha added.
Another team of SIT is investigating the case in Berhampur on the case related to duping people on pretext of providing job, he added.
“We are investing all angles of the case and we will infirm you about the development of the case”, Sinha said.
Notably, the Tata Motors had earlier informed the Crime Branch that there was no one in the name of Akash Pathak working in TML as its passenger division MD.
