Nabarangpur: As part of 5T and Mo Sarkar, Nabarangpur RTO today landed in vigilance net for allegedly his involvement in corruption.
The RTO has been identified as Ganeshwar Kanar.
Vigilance sleuths conducted raids at five places related to the RTO – his rented house and office in Nabarangpur district and his properties at Bhubaneswar, Phulbani, and Parlakhemundi simultaneously.
According to reports, the RTO had allegedly taken around Rs 45,000 in two installments from a job aspirant of Badkumuli village with assurances to provide him a permanent job, however, he reportedly did not fulfill his promises.
According to reports, an ex-employee at RTO had submitted all document showing mass corruption by the RTO before the SP of Nabarangpur following which the raids were carried out by vigilance sleuth.
