Bhubaneswar: Joy was thick in the air at the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Odisha on Tuesday as it welcomed eight yellow anacondas and three mile crocodile to attract more tourists to the zoo in Bhubaneswar.
The animals will be brought as part of the animal exchange programme, said sources.
Three Nile Crocodile Females and 8 number of Yellow Annaconda (4 Male and 4 Female) from Madras Crocodile Bank Trust Chennai have reached Nandankanan today at 5.30 PM.
The animals will be kept in off display area at Reptile Park for quite some period before it will be finally kept for display to Public.
With these two species the total species of Nandankanan goes up to 158.
