Narendra Singh Tomar Assumes Additional Charge of Ministry of Food Processing Industries

New Delhi: Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar assumed additional charge as the Minister of Food Processing Industries in Panchsheel Bhawan today afternoon.

The Minister met all the senior officials and reviewed the schemes of the ministry.
Tomar is currently holding the charge of the Minister of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Minister of Rural Development, and Minister of Panchayati Raj.

Earlier, President Ram Nath Kovind had accepted the resignation of Food Processing Industries Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, who had resigned from Union Cabinet in protest against two farm sector bills.
