Naveen Calls Upon Public Servants to Serve People with Integrity, Probity and Dedication

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has called upon all public servants to reaffirm their commitment to curb corruption in all spheres of public service and serve the people with integrity, probity and dedication.

In a message on the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022, the Chief Minister said, “Corruption is a major taboo to growth and development. It deprives people from getting the benefits of development and welfare programmes of the Government. It also deprives the citizens of their rightful entitlements and access to basic goods and services”.

He said, “My Government has been following a “Zero tolerance” approach to corruption and has taken stringent anti-corruption measures over the years. We have put transparency as the starting point of our 5-T initiative to ensure that all efforts undertaken by our Government to achieve transformational goals in governance and public service delivery”.

The Chief Minister also congratulated Odisha Vigilance for its commendable performance in combating corruption and expect it to further intensify its anti-corruption drive.

Naveen also appealed to the people of State to reaffirm their commitment to fight against corruption and participate in the anti-corruption campaign to build a strong and corruption free society.

“Let us strive hard to eradicate corruption and build a corruption free Odisha for achieving the status of a developed State”, the CM said.
