Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the demise of former Baliguda MLA from Kandhamal district Sahura Mallik.
In a tweet, the Chief Minister said that he is saddened to learn about the passing away of the veteran leader.
Mallick will always be remembered for his contribution for the development of Baliguda, Naveen wrote.
The Chief Minister prayed for peace to the departed soul and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
ବାଲିଗୁଡାର ପୂର୍ବତନ ବିଧାୟକ ସାହୁରା ମଲ୍ଲିକଙ୍କ ଦେହାନ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଜାଣି ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ। ବିଧାୟକ ଭାବେ ବାଲିଗୁଡା ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ସେ କରିଥିବା ଉଦ୍ୟମ ସର୍ବଦା ସ୍ମରଣୀୟ ରହିବ। ତାଙ୍କ ଅମର ଆତ୍ମାର ସଦଗତି କାମନା କରିବା ସହିତ ଶୋକସନ୍ତପ୍ତ ପରିବାରବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ମୋର ସମବେଦନା ଜଣାଉଛି।

Mallick, who had won from Baliguda assembly seat three times in 1974, 1980 and 1995, passed away this morning. He was 85.
The veteran Congress leader was popular for his selfless services to the people.
