Naveen Condoles The Death Of Odissi Danseuse Laxmipriya Mohapatra; Cremation To Be Held With State Honours

Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed deep grief at the passing away of renowned Odissi dancer Laxmipriya Mahapatra. She is the wife of late Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra.

The Chief Minister paid rich tributes to late Laxmipriya Mohapatra while remembering the great contribution of Mrs Mahapatra and her entire family in the promotion of Odissi dance. He also conveyed his deep sympathies to the bereaved family.

Naveen also announced for state funeral for Laxmipriya Mahapatra, who will be cremated at Puri today.
