Naveen Inaugurates Eco Retreat 2021, Urges to Explore Beauty of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the Odisha Eco Retreat 2021, the foremost luxury camping festival of Eastern India.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said the Eco Retreats Odisha 2021 will go a long way in encouraging tourists from across India to explore these beautiful destinations set deep in the hinterlands of Odisha.

He also urged all to keep exploring Odisha, India’s best kept secret.

“It is an ideal gateway to enjoy the much needed leisure to conclude the eventful year and to celebrate in anticipation of a safer and happier future for all of us”, the CM said.

Riding on the popularity of eco retreats model with enthusiastic response received by each of the previous editions across five diverse locales, this year the Tourism Department has added two more locations – one in Koraput and another in Ganjam.

Eco Retreat Odisha hosts a glamping festival, a festival meant to explore the hidden beauty of Odisha for its tourists. This year, Eco Retreat features Konark, Satkosia, Bhitarkanika, Daringbadi, Hirakud, Pati-Sonapur and Koraput.

The festival showcases the rich Odisha culture and local cuisines, offers experiences to travelers over three months.
This year’s retreat will have jungle trails, water sports, boat rides, tours, adrenaline-pumping games, and exotic cuisines.

The facilities and services at the eco retreats are in complete compliance of Covid safety norms.
The Chief Minister congratulated everyone involved in accomplishing this feat and wished the guests a wonderful time at these truly exotic places.
