Naveen Pays Floral Tribute to Utkal Gourav Madhusudan Das on Birth Anniversary

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has paid floral tribute to Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das, the architect of modern Odisha, on his birth anniversary today.


Born on this day in 1848, Madhusudan Das was a great lawyer, social reformer and a patriot. He worked hard for the social, political and economical upliftment of the people of Odisha. He founded Utkal Sammilani in 1903 to campaign for the unification of Odisha along with its social and industrial development.
