Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will today review the preparations for the world famous Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath which is scheduled to be held on 1st July.
Participating virtually, the Chief Minister will take stock of the preparedness and progress of various works being undertaken by the administration for Rath Yatra. As the Rath Yatra is being organized in the presence of devotees after a gap of two years, and a record number of devotees are expected, the priority for the administration is on ensuring availability of health facilities, communication, roads, sanitation and cleanliness. Various ministers, Secretaries and Police Officials will also participate in the meeting.
