Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department sleuths are conducting simultaneous raids on the properties and houses related to Jaleswar Block Development Officer Ashwini Kumar Das on the allegations of acquisition of disproportionate assets. Six teams of Odisha Vigilance Department led by 5 DSPs, 9 Inspectors, and other staff are carrying out searches. The searches are being carried out on the strength of the search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack.
1) Residential double-storeyed building of Das located at Jhinkiria, Sri Krishna Vihar, near Bayalisamouza, Cuttack
2) Triple-storeyed building of Das located at Kalapada near Bayalisamouza, Cuttack
3) Office Room of Das located at Block Office, Jaleswar, Balasore
4) Govt residential quarter of Das located at Jaleswar, Balasore
5) Office room of Jyotirmayee Sahoo (wife of Das) located at Govt Press, Khapuria, Cuttack
6) Relative’s house located at Bhuinpur, Aul, Kendrapara.
