Naveen To Visit Sundargarh Dist Today; Launch Distribution Of BSKY Smart Health Cards And Lay Foundation Of Development Projects

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the distribution of Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Smart Health cards in Sundargarh today. He will launch the program from Rourkela during his one day visit to the district today. He is also scheduled to lay foundation stone and inaugurate a number of development projects of the district during his visit.

The Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana Smart Card will be issued to about 96 lakh households and 3.5 crore beneficiaries of the state. The Smart card will entitle the beneficiaries’ free treatment at all Government hospitals of the state and more than 200 private hospitals of the state and outside. Each family can avail treatment benefits up to Rs 5 lakh per annum under the scheme and in case of women family members, the limit is Rs 10 lakh.
