Kendrapara: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited the Baladevjew temple in Kendrapara district on the occasion of Debasnana Purnima today.
Naveen reached at the temple in the afternoon and had darshan of the deity at the snanaa mandap.
After paying obeisance at the famous shrine, the Chief Minister announced a special package worth Rs 2 crore for the development of the temple and its adjoining areas, sources said.
The package includes the renovation of the Jhulana Mandap, construction of Baladevjew Kalyan Mandap at Saanta Sahi, a boundary wall on the north side of the temple, a toilet near the marriage mandap and a deep bore well and an overhead tank for 24-hour supply of drinking water.
