Bhubaneswar: The newly elected president of All India Football Federation Kalyan Chaubey along with Shaji Prabhakaran, Secretary General AIFF, called upon Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on Wednesday.
The officials discussed with the Chief Minister regarding the promotion of football in the country. They also discussed about the organization of the prestigious Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Odisha.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik sought support for growth of women’s football in Odisha and restarting of Kalinga Cup Football. He also thanked them for the appreciation for Odisha’s illustrious sporting ecosystem.
