No Respite From Scorching Heat Till 30th April For Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department has issued warning for heat wave conditions over many places of interior Odisha during the next three to four days.

Temperatures in the state may rise by about two to three degrees Celsius in the next few days. For today, heat wave warning has been issued for eight districts including Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Anugul, Sonepur, Deogarh, Boudh and Balangir.

While Bpudh recorded more than 44 degrees yesterday, Sambalpur and Jharsuguda have recorded temperatures of more than 40 degrees by 11 am today.
