Bhubaneswar: Popular Ollywood comedian and actor Salil Mitra is no more. Mitra who met with an accident on May 12th in Ghatagaon breathed his last at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. He was seriously injured in the accident and undergoing treatment for fractured ribs and injuries in the spinal cord. He is survived by his wife and daughters.
Mitra is famous in Odisha for his various roles in Odia films. He has also acted in many albums and television shows. Making debut with film Pua Bhangi Dela Suna Sansara in 1999, he acted in films like Sister Sridevi, Gote Sua Gote Sari, Jhia Ta Bigida Gala and Agastya.
