Bhubaneswar: Eleven districts in Odisha have recorded deficit rainfall during June 1 to July 21 period, said the Special Relief Commissioner today.
As many as 18 districts have recorded normal rainfall while 10 others have witnessed deficit rain during monsoon so far. Puri district is the worst-hit with maximum shortage of seasonal rain.
Jharsuguda district has recorded surplus rainfall during June-July 2020, the SRC stated.
Odisha has received 7 per cent less rainfall during the period.
