Bhubaneswar: Odisha Assembly Speaker Surjya Narayan Patra today chaired an all-party meeting ahead of monsoon session of the House.
The monsoon session is scheduled to commence from September 1.
The Speaker called for the all-party meeting to discuss about the smooth functioning of the Assembly.
He said that all MLAs and Assembly staffs will undergo RT-PCR test before the commencement of the session.
The Assembly will function for five hours every day. The first sitting of the session will start at 10:30 am and end at 1:30 pm. The second sitting will begin from 4 pm to 6 pm. There will be star questions. The adjournment motion will also be discussed, he added.
