Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Legislative Assembly will have 4.5 business hours daily during the ensuing Winter Session, which is scheduled to commence from November 20, said Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro on Thursday.
Like the Monsoon Session, the Winter Session will also be conducted following the COVID-19 guidelines, he said while adding that decision is yet to be taken regarding the Question Hour.
The Speaker further informed that the training programme will be started from tomorrow for the implementation of E-Assembly. In the first phase, the staffs of Assembly will be imparted training, he added.
The Winter Session of the Assembly will commence from November 20 and continue till December 3. It will have a total of 40 working days including five private members day.
The first Supplementary Budget of the current 2020-21 financial year will be tabled by Finance Minister on the first day of the Session.
