Bhubaneswar: Following the constant rise in the price of diesel for the last few days, the Odisha Government today hiked bus fare for all categories under the automatic fare adjustment mechanism.
The revised bus fares:
Ordinary Fare – 0.67paisa to 0.70paisa.
Express Fare – 0.70paisa to 0.73paisa
Deluxe Fare – 0.95paisa to 1.01paisa
A.C. Deluxe Fare – 1.17paisa to 1.23paisa
Notably, petrol and diesel prices were hiked on Tuesday, marking the tenth straight day of increase since state-owned oil companies returned to the normal practice of daily reviews following a 12-week pause.
