Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today approved the appointment of 500 assistant section officers (ASOs) in Group B of state secretariat service.
The approval came following the recommendation of the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), the custodian of the recruitment examinations.
The OPSC announced the results of the assistant section officer (ASO) (Group B) recruitment examinations on April 29.
As many as 983 candidates were provisionally selected for the skill test. Of them 500 were successful in the test.
The new appointees will be posted in the State Secretariat.
