Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has condoled the loss of lives in the tragic fire accident at a hospital in Gujarat’s Bharuch.
“Deeply saddened by the loss of lives in the tragic fire accident at a hospital in Gujarat’s #Bharuch. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief and pray for the speedy recovery of those who sustained injuries”, the Chief Minister tweeted.

At least 16 Covid-19 patients lost their lives after a fire broke out at Bharuch Welfare Hospital at 1 am on Saturday, according to reports.
The patients died due to the fire and resultant smoke.
A total of around 70 patients were admitted at the four-storeyed hospital, of which 24 were in the intensive care unit.
