Odisha CM to Review Preparedness to Tackle Cyclone Yaas at 5.30 PM Today
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will review the State’s preparedness to tackle the impending cyclone Yaas, which is very likely to make landfall tomorrow morning at Chandbali-Dhamra port.
The Chief Minister will chair a high level review meeting at 5.30 pm today to take stock of the situation.
The Chief Minister will hold discussions with SRC and senior officials of vulnerable districts on precautionary measures to deal with the situation arising out of the cyclone.
Meanwhile, the State Government has alerted administrations of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur to remain over prepared to face the disaster.
