Bhubaneswar: The E-commerce platforms will be allowed to resume their operations during the second phase of COVID-19 lockdown in Odisha, said Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) Pradeep Jena here today.
Odisha is the first State in the country to extend the extend lockdown till April 30.
For the convenience of the people, home delivery of all kind of products by E-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Blue Dart, DTDC and Big Basket will be allowed in the second phase of lockdown, the SRC said.
Besides, the roadside Dhabas will remain open during the second phase of lockdown in order to help drivers and helpers of logistic vehicles get food from the eateries, he added.
The Odisha Government has also notified significant relaxation in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, fisheries and animal husbandry, procurement, trading and retailing of agriculture produce in the State as well as rural works for wage employment excepting the hotspots with effect from April 15.
