Bhubaneswar: The Odisha police have arrested the driver of fake doctor Ramesh Swain from Ranpur area in Nayagarh.
The Commissionerate Police arrested Pappu who had reportedly helped the fake doctor in several fraudulent activities.
The driver was absconding following the arrest of Swain.
As per reports, Pappu is being interrogated at an undisclosed location by the police.
Earlier, Swain was undergone a lie detection test.
Notably, Ramesh Swain by introducing himself as a doctor, a senior officer of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Council of India, had married at least 18 women from different states and duped them of lakhs of rupees. He was arrested by the Odisha police on February 14.
Swain’s sister was also arrested last month for her alleged involvement in his multiple marriages.
