Odisha Food Security Act Beneficiaries to Get 5 Kg Additional Rice Free, Announces CM

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced that all beneficiaries under the Food Security Act in the State will receive additional 5 kg rice free of cost in May and June.

The Chief Minister made this announcement in view of the second wave of COVID-19 in the State.

The move will benefit to more than 12 lakh people.

The State Government government will bear all expenses for providing benefits to the people under Food Security Act .
