Odisha: Four Killed as wall collapsed in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a tragic incident at least four persons have been killed while several injured as the boundary wall of a rice mill collapsed on them at Alasua market in Dhenkanal district today.

According to reports, the deceased and the injured were vegetable traders. They came to Alasua Market as today was the weekly haat (market). All the victims were sitting near the boundary wall and selling vegetables when the dilapidated wall collapsed on them killing four of them on the spot.

All the injured have been admitted to the Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).

ODRAF and Odisha Fire Services and local police personnel have been pressed into rescue operations as several persons are feared to be trapped under the debris.
