Odisha Govt Brings ‘Grant of Goods Carriage Permit’ Under Right to Public Services Act

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has brought ‘Grant of Goods Carriage Permit’ under Odisha Right to Public Services Act 2012.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has given the necessary approval for this move today.

With the inclusion of this subject under the Act, now applicants can get the permit for goods carriage within seven days of application with submission of valid documents and fees. It may be mentioned here that the Commerce & Transport (Transport) Department has already been providing 31 services under ORTPSA. With this, the Department will provide 32 services as per the Act, said an official statement.
