Bhubaneswar: In the wake recent surge in the Covid-19 case, the Odisha government has cancelled all forms of transport from and to Chhattisgarh from April 10 to the State.
In an order, the government said all public transport from Odisha to Chhattisgarh and vice versa shall be suspended from April 10 to 30.
Transport Commissioner shall issue appropriate orders in this regard.
Transport department with help of State Police and under guidance of district collectors will set up Border Check Points (BCPs) at strategic locations/border entry points to manage entry of incoming persons/vehicles.
