Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today cancelled the semester examinations of the +3 and PG students.
The second and fourth semester exams of +3 students, and second semester of PG students have been canceled. The universities have been asked to carry out evaluation through alternate ways and promote the students to next classes, said Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo after video conferencing meeting of the minister with vice-chancellors of all universities.
Around 25 percent of the syllabus of +3 and PG courses will be covered by the students through ‘self-study materials’ while the same has been recommended in the UGC guidelines, the minister added.
