Odisha Govt Committed to Popularize Home-grown Koraput Coffee: Naveen

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reaffirmed his commitment to promote the home-grown Koraput Coffee to boost income of coffee farmers.

On the occasion of International Coffee Day today, the CM took to twitter to highlight the home-grown coffee from Odisha.

Koraput Coffee is known for its rejuvenating taste, freshness and aroma, Naveen said while adding that his government is committed to popularize the home-grown coffee.

The Odisha Government is committed to popularise the home-grown, flavourful Koraput Coffee among the coffee lovers around the world to boost income of coffee farmers, he said.

Koraput Coffee is a unique blend, consisting of 100 per cent Arabica coffee. As opposed to the Robusta variety of the beverage which is acidic, ‘Arabica Coffee’, growing in the shade of trees, has a host of salutary benefits, inducing people to switch to the latter.

International Coffee Day is celebrated on 1 October to bring together coffee lovers in a global celebration to share their love of coffee and support the millions of farmers whose livelihoods depend on it.
