Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today effected a major reshuffle among IAS officers giving new assignments to 32 bureaucrats, according to an official notification. Among the officers transferred include nine District Collectors.
Archana Patnaik will be posted as MD of Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation with additional charge as Special Secretary to Water Resources Department. She is currently serving as MD of Odisha State Medical Corporation.
Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Niranjan Sahu will now be the Director, Higher Education with additional charge of Labour Commissioner, Odisha.
Prasanta Kumar Senapati, who is currently serving as Secretary, Board of Revenue, will be posted as Inspector General of Registration, Cuttack.
Dasarathi Satpathy has been posted as Odisha Legislative Assembly Secretary. He is currently the Director, Legal Meteorology.
Director Technical Education and Training Nirmal Chandra Mishra has been appointed as Director, Tourism Department with additional charge of MD, OTDC.
Anjan Kumar Manik, Labour Commissioner and Director ESI, has been posted as Excise Commissioner, Cuttack. Bibhuti Bhusan Patnaik, who is currently serving as Director, Tourism and MD, OTDC, will be posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Odisha.
Tribikram Pradhan, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, will be posted as Additional Secretary, Excise Department.
Cuttack Collector Aravind Agarwal has been posted as Director, Social Welfare, W&CD and Mission Shakti and CEO Odisha Mineral Bearing Areas Development Corporation (OMBADC).
Similarly, Cuttack Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sarat Chandra Nayak is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.
Joint Secretary, H&FW Department Yamini Sarangi has been posted as Managing Director of Odisha State Medical Corporation, Bhubaneswar.
District Collector Khurda, Bhupendra Poonia, will be posted as State Project Director OPEPA with additional charge of Director, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan and Special PD, RMSA, Bhubaneswar.
Jagatsinghpur Collector Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar has been appointed as the Joint Secretary in the Health Department.
Prem Chandra Chaudhary will be posted as Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Commissioner with additional charge of CEO, Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited and Vice Chairman BDA. He is currently serving as the Collector of Kendrapada.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Commissioner and BDA VC Samarth Verma has been posted as Kendrapada Collector.
Reghu G, Director (I/c) Social Welfare, W&CD and Mission Shakti Department has been posted as Director, Technical Education and Training, Cuttack.
Koraput Collector K Sudarshan Chakravathy is transferred as Balasore Collector. Surendra Kumar Meena, MD of Odisha Lift Irrigation Corporation has been appointed as Secretary, Board of Revenue, Cuttack.
Nuapada Collector Poma Tudu has been transferred as Collector Koraput. Madhusmita Sahoo, currently working with the General Administration Department will be posted as Nuapada Collector.
Project Director (I/c), District Urban Development Authority, Khurda, Abdaal Akhtar is posted as PD (I/c) District Rural Development Authority, Cuttack. Additional Commissioner BMC, Ananya Das will be posted as Cuttack Municipal Corporation Commissioner.
Laltendu Mishra working with the GA Department will be the new Boudh Collector. Boudh Collector Sitansu Kumar Rout will be posted as Khurda Collector.
Additional Secretary, Cooperation Department, Bhabani Shankar Chayani has been made the Cuttack Collector . He will also hold the additional charge of Vice Chairman Cuttack Development Authority.
Additional Secretary, Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment Department Sangram Keshari Mohapatra will be the new Collector of Jagatsinghpur.
Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan has been appointed as Jharsuguda Collector. He is currently serving as the General Manager, Odisha Mineral Bearing Areas Development Corporation (OMBADC).
Jyoti Prakas Das, Project Director, OPEPA, has been appointed as Director, Textiles with additional charge of MD, Boyanika.
Krupasindhu Mishra, Additional Secretary, Higher Education Department, has been appointed as Director, Information and Public Relations.
Ramesh Chandra Rout, Balasore Collector, has been posted as Director, ESI, Bhubaneswar, while Jharsuguda Collector Bibhuti Bhusan Das will be the Additional Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
This is the first major reshuffle effected by the Naveen Patnaik government after the general elections.
