Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today effected a minor reshuffle in IAS cadre by giving new tasks to six officers.
A notification has been issued by the General Administration and Public Grievances Department in this regard.
Niten Chandra has been appointed as the Chairman of Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC).
He will replace Finance Secretary Ashok Meena who was holding the additional post of (OSSSC). Chandra was posted as Officer on Special Duty to GA and PG Department, the notification said.
Chanchal Rana , who is currently posted as Project Director (PD) (In-charge), District Rural Development Authority (DRDA), Gajapati has been appointed as PD, DRDA, Mayurbhanj.
Swadha Devi Singh, at present Addl. District Magistrate, Gajapati is appointed as Addl. District Magistrate, Rourkela, Sundargarh.
Dibya Jyoti Parida, at present Sub-Collector, Baripada has been appointed as Under Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.
He will remain in additional charge as OSD to National Health Mission.
Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, currently Chief General Manager, OMFED, Bhubaneswar will remain in additional charge of CEO, Hockey Promotion Council, Bhubaneswar in addition to his own duties.
Anvesha Reddy,at present Executive Director, Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd., Bhubaneswar, has been allowed to remain in additional charge of Executive Director, Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd., Bhubaneswar.
