Odisha: IMD Issues Rainfall Alert for 5 Dists

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued rainfall alert for five districts in Odisha today.

The regional centre of the IMD here predicted rainfall of thundershower for five districts  – Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Deogarh.

“Light rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Deogarh, and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha,” stated the latest IMD bulletin.

The met deptartment has also predicted shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of north Odisha and Khurda, Puri, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Sonepur and Koraput districts.
