Odisha: IMD Issues Yellow Warning for Several Districts

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued Yellow warning for several districts of Odisha till October 15.

Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Dhenkanal, Angul, Khordha, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Jajpur, the Metrological Centre Bhubaneswar said.

Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur and Deogarh.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Odisha, the IMD said.

The forecast is valid till 0830 hrs IST of October 15, it added.
