Odisha IT Sector Gets Major Boost at MIO Conclave 2022, IT Dept Stall Attracts Huge Footfall

Bhubaneswar: While Odisha is fast emerging as a hub for the innovation and IT sector, the Make in Odisha (MIO) Conclave 2022 has given further boost to this growing sector in the State.

The Electronics and IT (E&IT) pavilion at MIO Conclave 2022 had been a major source of attraction for participants and visitors.

On the exhibition day, the E&IT stall has attracted huge footfall providing visitors an opportunity to experience latest innovation and technologies like AR/VR, drone technologies and cutting tech.
The pavilion witnessed more than 10,000 visitors. The visitors got an opportunity to have hands on tech platforms from leading IT giants such as IBM and Asiczen Technologies.

E&IT is one of the key six focus sectors in Odisha. This sector has received 37 investment proposals worth more than Rs 10,000 croes generating employment potential for around 54392 persons.

The major companies, such as Intel, Adobe, EPIC Foundation, Incture Technologies, SRAM & MRAM, Concentrix India, GlobalFoundries and RailTel, have shown their interests to invest in the E&IT space in Odisha.

The third edition of Make in Odisha Conclave 2022 had received an overall investment proposal worth Rs. 10.5 lakh crores generating 10,37,701 employment potential across sectors from 741 companies.
