Bhadrak: The Office of Sub-Collector Bhadrak today issued the notification for the by-election to the Dhamnagar Assembly constituency.
As per the notification, the last date for filing nominations by candidates is October 14. The candidates can file their nomination at the Block Development Office (BDO) between 11 am and 3 pm.
The date of scrutiny is October 15. The candidates can withdraw their nomination by October 17, the notification added.
The by-poll will be held on November 3 and the date of counting and declaration of results is November 6.
The by-poll was necessitated following the death of sitting MLA Bishnu Sethi.
