Bhubaneswar: More than one lakh SHG members have installed ‘Mission Shakti Mobile Application’, which has been developed as part of the 5T initiatives to disseminate information on schemes and programmes, and address issues raised by SHGs.
“So far, more than one lakh SHG members have installed ‘Mission Shakti Mobile Application’ and been able to guide other women in availing benefits under Government initiatives”, the Mission Department informed through its Twitter handle.
Bridging the gender gap in access to the digital revolution, the Department has developed the mobile based application, which serves as a two-way communication platform.
The Mission Shakti Mobile App has established a channel to disseminate information on schemes& entitlements and address issues raised by SHGs.
The mobile app provides the framework for organizing and managing the various activities of WSHGs. It has interactive dashboard along with statistical and graphical information.
