Odisha Second Phase Panchayat Elections: 43% Voter Turnout Recorded till 12PM

Bhubaneswar: Around 43 per cent of the voters have exercised their franchise till 12 PM in the second phase of the panchayat elections being held on Friday in Odisha.

This has been informed by the State Election Commission.

About 62.10 lakh voters in 1514 panchayats in 68 blocks across all 30 districts are to exercise their franchise in the second phase polling.

A total of 747 candidates are in fray for the 186 Zilla Parishad (ZP) zones.

The polling is being held at 20,466 booths.
