Odisha Panchayat Elections: Final Voters’ List to Be Released by December 16, Polls in February

Bhubaneswar: The final voters’ list for the Panchayat elections in Odisha will be released by December 16, according to the State Election Commission (SEC).

The Panchayat elections will be conducted in the first week of February next year. The exact polling dates will be announced by the end of this month, the SEC stated.

The Commission had started preparing electoral rolls in November for the upcoming poll. Those who attained 18 years of age as on November 1, 2021, have been included in voters’ list for the elections.

The elections will be held in 91,913 wards under 6,794 Panchayats in 29 out of 30 districts.
