Odisha defeated the visitors by a huge margin of an innings and 3 runs in Elite, Group C match.
Riding on the half centuries by Shantanu Mishra (66), Anurag Sarangi (58), Govinda Poddar (58), Abhishek Raut (71) and Debabrata Pradhan (79), the host posted 436 runs in the first innings.
Assam were all out for 238 in their first innings and 195 in the second.
With their fifth win in the tournament, Odisha are placed at the top of Elite Group C.
