Odisha Revenue Minister Makes Surprise Visit to Pipili Tahasil to Review Implementation of 5T Initiatives
Bhubaneswar: Continuing his surprise visits, Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Sudam Marndi has conducted surprise visit to Pipli Tahasil in Puri district to assess implementation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T initiatives.
During his visit, the Minister reviewed the progress of different government schemes, such as disposal of mutation cases, disposal of cases U/s 8(A) & 19(1)(c ) of OLR Act, Misc. Certificates and protection of government land.
Marndi observed that more than 4000 mutation cases are pending beyond the ORTPS period for which he expressed his displeasure and advised the Tahasildar & Addl. Tahasildar to dispose of all the pending cases within a fortnight.
The Minister also expressed his displeasure for pending of 99 cases U/s 8(A) of OLR Act and pending of legal heir certificates beyond the stipulated period.
He also interacted with the public present in the Tahasil and took the views regarding different services rendered in the Tahasil.
The Minister advised the Tahasildar and staffs to discharge their duty honestly and sincerely for delivery of different services to the citizens within the prescribed time limit and implementation of 5T in a letter and spirit.
