Odisha: Several Districts to Experience Rainfall till March 14

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre here has forecasted rainfall in several districts of Odisha till March 14. 

As per the weather department, light to moderate rain thundershower is likely to occur at many places over the districts of north Odisha and at a few places over the districts of Bolangir, Kandhamal, Sonepur, Boudh, Khurda on March 11 and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha.

Hailstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Dhenkanal and Angul.

Thunderstorm with lighting accompanied with gusty surface winds, speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph is may occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Angul, Deogarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Bolangir, Kandhamal and Sambalpur.

On March 12, heavy rain is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj, Cuttack and Kendrapara.
Thunderstorm with lighting accompanied with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph may occur at one or two places over the districts of Bolangir, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Khurda, Nayagarh, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kendrapara.

On March 13, a few places over the districts of Sundergarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Balasore may witness light to moderate rainfall or thundershower.

At least one or two places over the rest districts of north Odisha and districts of Kandhamal, Boudh, Khurda, Nayagarh, Kalahandi, Bolangir may see similar weather conditions.
Thunderstorm with lighting is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Kandhamal.

On March 14, light to moderate rain or thundershower may occur at one or two places over the districts of north interior Odisha and districts of Gajapati Ganjam, Koraput, Kandhamal and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
